Transitional English prepares students for English courses in high school by exposing students to ninth grade curriculum while still in the eighth grade..á Successful students must demonstrate strong reading and writing skills. áThe course places emphasis on critical and analytical thinking.

To view weekly lesson plans as well as daily assignments, returned tests/quizzes, and other classroom information please login to your student or parent Schoology account by visiting www.Schoology.com. (Students must sign in through www.acpsd.schoology.com.)

If you did not recieve your parent access code during open house,
please email me at ABANNISTER@ACPSD.NET for that code. Once you have that code you will have full access to view your child's work and assignments. Again, please email me with any questions you might have!

My classes will be completing the majority of their assignments on the computer this year. Therefore, you may want to purchase a pair of earbuds to use while in class for listening to audio books and watching video clips I provide.

The other supplies needed will be:
A pocket folder with prongs
Pens/Pencils
A binder or section in a binder shared with another class
Notebook paper
